Pictured Rocks

Located in Michigan’s upper peninsula; it is a haven of fun and opportunity that does not receive much attention as other national parks in the United States. The journey to this magnificent location is much harder than traditional national parks but gives off a secret garden vibe due to the location’s perception of being “other worldly.” Elements at Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore include: two hundred foot rock cliffs, pine and hemlock trees, bald eagles, seagulls, and Lake Superior — which gives off a aquamarine color from afar but is ultra clear up close.
